A nice long weekend on Montauk State Park. Its wall to wall RVs on the weekend but stay past Sunday afternoon and the whole beach is yours.

GOVERNOR'S ISLAND: Not exactly a remote destination but indeed one where few cars may roam. Got to take the ferry to the island to pick up some things from Rachel's exhibition at the Governor's Island Art Fair. Today the Brits took the island!
